Short answer. Curex's GLP-1 pages say "From $149" at the top and "From $199" on the compounded tirzepatide listings, with "No membership fee ever" and a full refund if tirzepatide is not prescribed. The terms add the parts the product page leaves out: a subscription "will continue to renew automatically" until you call or email; you can cancel or pause "before your next order enters fulfillment"; prepaid plans commit you "for the full term selected"; and "all fees are non-refundable" once an order is compounding, prepared or shipped. No pharmacy is named.
Curex is one of the better-known names in compounded GLP-1 telehealth, and its pricing pages are cleaner than most: a price, "includes prescription and medication," and a promise of no membership fee. The questions a patient still has to answer before paying, what "from" means, what renews, and what is refundable after the first click, are answered on the terms page rather than the product page. This article puts those sentences next to the marketing.
Disclosure first: I founded SkinnyVIP, a compounded tirzepatide program with different terms, and I compare them at the end. Everything attributed to Curex below is quoted from its own published policy pages on October 18, 2026, with links, and the quotes are chosen to answer the questions patients actually ask: when is money refundable, what renews, and how do you stop it. Nothing here is a judgment of Curex's clinical care, which I have no way to assess.
What the product pages say
“From $149. Includes prescription and medication. No membership fee ever.” — Curex, GLP-1 overview page headline, read October 18, 2026
“From $199/month. Includes prescription and medication. No additional membership fees.” — Curex, compounded tirzepatide page
“And if tirzepatide is not prescribed, we will provide a full refund.” — Curex, compounded tirzepatide page
“Our clinicians may order labs and additional medications for you, which would not be covered by the plan but for which you can use your insurance.” — Curex, compounded tirzepatide page
Two figures appear: $149 on the overview headline and $199 on both compounded tirzepatide listings (injection and dissolving tablet). Neither page states what “from” means, whether a price is for the first month only, or what a subsequent month costs. Our Real-Price Index recorded Curex in September 2026 as “$149 first month only, then $199” from its pages at that time; on October 18 the pages we read show both figures without stating the relationship, so the index carries $199 as the ongoing figure and treats $149 as a headline rate. If you are quoted $149, ask in writing which month it applies to.
What the terms say about renewal
“If you choose a subscription option, your subscription will continue to renew automatically unless you request the cancellation by calling Curex at (857) 240-1080 or email us at hi@getcurex.com. If you choose a one-time payment option, no other charges are due.” — Curex, Terms
“Some products may be purchased without a subscription with a one-time payment. No subscription is required. For additional purchases, you may continue to pay as you go or you may choose a subscription that offers a lower price.” — Curex, Terms
“By enrolling in a prepaid plan, you agree to commit for the full term selected.” — Curex, Terms
This is more flexible than most: a genuine one-time purchase exists, and the subscription is optional in exchange for a lower price. The thing to confirm at checkout is which of the three you are selecting, because the lower price and the automatic renewal come together.
How to stop, and when it's too late
“You may cancel or pause your subscription at any time before your next order enters fulfillment.” — Curex, Terms
“Once a product has entered the fulfillment process, defined as compounding, preparation, or shipment, you are responsible for the full cost of that order.” — Curex, Terms
Curex defines its cutoff, which is more than many programs do: the moment an order enters compounding, preparation or shipment. There is no published notice period in days, and no published way to see in advance when the next order will enter fulfillment, so the safe practice is to cancel or pause well before the expected ship date and keep the email.
Refunds
“Because every product is custom-made for each patient, all fees are non-refundable.” — Curex, Terms
“We do not issue refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods, even if you stop treatment early.” — Curex, Terms
Read together with the product page, the rule is: a full refund if a clinician does not prescribe; otherwise no refunds once an order is in fulfillment, and no partial refunds on a subscription period or a prepaid term. That is a standard structure for compounded products. The difference between programs is where the cutoff sits and how clearly it is stated, and Curex states it.
The pharmacy
Curex's pages say medication is delivered “from a state-licensed pharmacy within our reliable network” and its FAQ refers to “a specialty pharmacy for each patient”; no pharmacy is named (compounded tirzepatide page). Since the FDA's October 2026 import alert on GLP-1 active ingredients, the name of the pharmacy and the source of its ingredient are reasonable questions to ask any program before the first order, and worth asking Curex's support line directly.

Before you switch any program: four things to confirm
- Where the refund cutoff sits. "Routed to the pharmacy," "dispensed," and "shipped" are three different moments, sometimes days apart. Know which one your program uses.
- Whether the next charge is already scheduled. If a plan renews, find the renewal date and the cancellation deadline in writing before you do anything else.
- What a cancellation actually costs. A notice period, a re-rating of discounted months, or a non-refundable consultation fee can all apply. Read the sentence that says so.
- What continuity looks like. Ask any new program how quickly a licensed clinician reviews your intake and when the first shipment arrives, so there is no gap in doses.
