Short answer. WeightWatchers’ plans page says “$25 for your first month with a 12-month or 6-month plan,” after which “membership continues for $74/mo (12-month plan) or $84/mo (6-month plan) for the remainder of your applicable plan term,” and “Cost of GLP-1 medications not included.” Its semaglutide page lists compounded semaglutide “Starting at $199/month” with “Membership and meds billed separately”; no compounded tirzepatide is offered on the pages we read. The WW Clinic terms, last updated February 9, 2026, say “Plans auto-renew for another 12-month or 6-month period,” that the subscription fee “is not refundable or cancellable once a billing period… or commitment period… has started,” that “the initial consultation fee is not refundable,” and that “Members will not be refunded any fees, even if prescribed medications are unavailable.”

WeightWatchers is a household name, and its Clinic program sells a membership on a six- or twelve-month commitment with medication billed on top. The headline is a $25 first month; the commitment, the auto-renewal into another full term and the refund position are in the WW Clinic Membership Agreement. This article puts those sentences next to the marketing.

Disclosure first: I founded SkinnyVIP, a compounded tirzepatide program with different terms, and I compare them at the end. Everything attributed to WeightWatchers Clinic below is quoted from its own published pages on October 19, 2026, with links, and the quotes are chosen to answer the questions patients actually ask: when is money refundable, what renews, and how do you stop it. Nothing here is a judgment of WeightWatchers Clinic's clinical care, which I have no way to assess.

What the pricing pages say

“^$25 for your first month with a 12-month or 6-month plan.” — WeightWatchers, pricing page, read October 19, 2026
“After the first month, membership continues for $74/mo (12-month plan) or $84/mo (6-month plan) for the remainder of your applicable plan term.” — WeightWatchers, pricing page
“Cost of GLP-1 medications not included.” — WeightWatchers, pricing page
“Semaglutide Prescription Online WW Med+ membership required. Membership and meds billed separately.” — WeightWatchers Clinic, semaglutide page
“Starting at $199/month” — WeightWatchers Clinic, semaglutide page (compounded semaglutide)
“All medications require eligibility and a prescription.” — WeightWatchers Clinic, semaglutide page

The $25 is a first-month price that requires a six- or twelve-month plan. After it, the membership is $74 or $84 a month for the rest of the term, and medication is billed separately on top; compounded semaglutide is listed from $199 a month. The pages we read list no compounded tirzepatide, so a WW patient wanting tirzepatide is looking at brand-name Zepbound through insurance or cash.

What the terms say about renewal and the commitment

“Plans auto-renew for another 12-month or 6-month period at the same monthly rate at the end of each plan term unless canceled.” — WeightWatchers Clinic, semaglutide page
“We will automatically charge your credit card or other account at the start of the standard or multiple-period prepayment plan billing period and at the start of each renewal period, unless you terminate or cancel your membership before the relevant renewal period begins.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement, last updated February 9, 2026
“For long-term commitment plans that renew for the same long-term commitment periods, each month of the applicable commitment period, unless you terminate or cancel your membership before the relevant renewal commitment period begins.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement
“You agree that we may modify the subscription fees at any time upon at least thirty (30) days prior written notice.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement
“Members are required to complete a series of questions when requesting refills which are reviewed before refills are sent in.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement

A six- or twelve-month plan renews into another six or twelve months unless you cancel before the new term begins. That is the sentence to calendar. Fees can change with 30 days’ notice, and refills are requested, not auto-shipped.

How to stop, and when it’s too late

“You may cancel a subscription before the applicable monthly processing date of your subscription, or in the case of a long-term commitment plan, before the end of the commitment period, by selecting that option in the protected areas of the Site or Mobile App, emailing hello@joinsequence.com, contacting your Care Team, contacting Customer Service, or by such other means as” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement (sentence as published)
“If you terminate your paid subscription, cancellation will take effect at the end of your then-current subscription period, or in the case of a long-term commitment plan, at the end of the commitment plan period.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement
“We will attempt to process all cancellation requests within 72 hours after we receive your request.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement
“The Providers will not send transfer prescriptions or file prior authorizations for members who have unsubscribed within the past 30 days.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement

On a commitment plan, cancelling takes effect at the end of the commitment period, not the end of the month; you remain a paying member until then. Requests take up to 72 hours to process, so do not cancel the day before a renewal. And for 30 days after unsubscribing, the clinic will not transfer your prescription or file prior authorizations, which matters if you plan to continue medication elsewhere.

Refunds

“For Healthcare Services that require an initial consultation with a Provider, once you have signed up for a subscription through the Services, the initial consultation fee is not refundable.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement
“Except as set forth in this Section, the subscription fee for the Services and Healthcare Services is not refundable or cancellable once a billing period (for standard monthly plans) or commitment period (for long term commitment plans) has started; if you terminate your subscription, you must pay the applicable monthly subscription fee until the end of the billing period” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement (sentence as published)
“If your membership is canceled due to a medical reason prior to the end of a period for which you have incurred a charge, then, with the exception of any fixed upfront fee (including an initial consultation fee) we may have charged, we will refund the unused portion of such period.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement
“Payment of the initial consultation fee or subscription fee does not guarantee medication availability.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement
“Members will not be refunded any fees, even if prescribed medications are unavailable, except as otherwise permitted in this Agreement.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement
“If you are entitled to any refund as described in (1) or (2) above, we reserve the right to charge a fee to cover the cost to us of any administrative or other services you may have used prior to your cancellation, to the extent permitted by law.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement

Once a commitment period starts, the fee is not refundable and the monthly payments continue to the end of it. The exceptions are a medical reason or WW ending the membership, and even then the upfront fees stay and an administrative fee may be deducted. The agreement is explicit that fees are not refunded if medication turns out to be unavailable. The pages do not state a refund for the case where a clinician declines to prescribe at all.

The pharmacy

“WW provides access to oral medication kits through Carepoint Pharmacy (“Carepoint”).” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement
“Most prescriptions may be dispensed at the pharmacy of your choice.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement
“However, for oral medication kits and certain drugs offered on a cash-pay basis, you may receive the medication at the stated price only through our preferred pharmacy, as indicated when you choose the medication.” — WW Clinic Membership Agreement

Carepoint Pharmacy is named for oral medication kits; the pharmacy for cash-pay compounded semaglutide is described as a preferred pharmacy “indicated when you choose the medication.” Ask which one before ordering.

Before you switch any program: four things to confirm

  1. Where the refund cutoff sits. "Routed to the pharmacy," "dispensed," and "shipped" are three different moments, sometimes days apart. Know which one your program uses.
  2. Whether the next charge is already scheduled. If a plan renews, find the renewal date and the cancellation deadline in writing before you do anything else.
  3. What a cancellation actually costs. A notice period, a re-rating of discounted months, or a non-refundable consultation fee can all apply. Read the sentence that says so.
  4. What continuity looks like. Ask any new program how quickly a licensed clinician reviews your intake and when the first shipment arrives, so there is no gap in doses.
